Gear Review – Petzl Actik Core
The rechargeable ACTIK CORE headlamp offers 450 lumens of power, which, along with its multi-beam design, makes it ideal for dynamic outdoor activities like mountaineering, running, hiking and backpacking. Red lighting preserves night vision and prevents members of a group from blinding each other. The reflective headband provides night visibility. ACTIK CORE comes with the CORE rechargeable battery and is also compatible with three AAA/LR03 batteries (not included), thanks to the HYBRID CONCEPT design. Mounting accessories allow the lamp to be attached to any kind of helmet, or to a bicycle. My Review I’ve been a huge fan of headlamps for years. They are used for so many things, everything from night hikes, camping trips and they work great for BBQing. I use it for working on my jeep and all kinds of other times when I need my hands but need light. Petzl is a leader in headlamps and I’ve been with them for years. I wanted a bright light with the red lighting for better night vision. And the Actik Core has it all. It’s not their cheapest version but for around $60, it’s more than worth it. Gear Review – Helinox Chair Zero
The Helinox Chair Zero is a lightweight and comfortable, four-legged camp chair that packs down to the width of a standard 32 oz. water bottle and weighs just a single pound. My Review I’ve had this chair since November 2021 and I take it everywhere. You can look up @THECHAIRADVENURES on Instagram as I started posting some pics there. This chair is amazing. It’s so light that you don’t even know you are carrying it. And it’s totally comfortable. Easy to put together and take apart. Everytime I bring it, the people I’m with steal it and use it. My buddy’s son loves it. I highly recommend it and would give it 9/10 stars all day long. I just hope it holds up and lasts. I’ll add to this review in the coming months. 10 Sedona Restaurants With Spectacular Views
Article By : Cindy Marks (Travel Awaits) From the roadside delis to Uptown food courts to fancy sit-down spots, eateries in Sedona tend to have one wonderful feature in common: stellar views. So if you are looking for restaurants in Sedona with amazing views, we’ve got you covered. Owing to Sedona’s magnificent setting, a surprising number of restaurants offer views of the nearby red rocks or Oak Creek Canyon. Many of them feature outdoor patios or large windows that showcase the views. And, thanks to the city’s nearly 300 days of sunshine per year, Sedona’s patios tend to be year-round features. When I visited in March, several of the patios were enclosed to protect against the brisk breeze, but the views were still splendid. After a day of sightseeing and hiking on the rugged trails, what could be better than sipping a salty margarita or lunching on a plate of street tacos while gazing into the depths of a sea of red rock formations? Of course, some of the views are better than others. Here are 10 eateries in the Sedona area with truly spectacular views. 1. Mesa Grill Perched on a mesa high above Sedona, the Mesa Grill features Southwestern favorites […]
Sedona Covered in Snow
Many think of the desert as dry, rocky and full of cactus. But from time to time, the Sedona desert is covered in white. It creates an amazing scene that is rare to see.
